Herpes/Cold Sores Help, URGENT Plz! xx?

This morning I woke up with two massive cold sore thingies on my lips. I’ve suffered from cold sore outbreaks once or twice a year since I was about 8 years old. I was just browsing the net for creams/treatments for this, when it was suggested that this could be herpes! Herpes! Omg! I thought that was a sexually transmitted disease! There are many varieties of Herpes, just not the sexual disease. For example…….chicken pox is a variety of herpes, as is shingles. For cold sores, you got that when you were young..actually someone with a cold sore kissed you…..and it does tend to come back from time to time. You can go to a pharmacy or store such as Wal-Mart and buy something to help you out…like Herpicin. Ask a pharmacist for advice about this. Best of luck to you.

Cold sores/ fever blisters are a form of herpes but not related to sexually transmitted herpes which is known as herpes simplex 2 (HSV2). The one that you get on your lip are known as herpes simplex I (HSV1). It is a virus that lays dormant in the body. Cold sores can erupt when your body is going through alot of stress, when your immunity is down, and can be triggered by getting a bad sun burn on your face.
People who are prone to those can take lysine which is an amino acid (all natural and can be purchased at a health food store) it is supposed to keep them to a minimum.
The other thing that you can try is Abreva which is a cream and you can get that at your local drug store.

Coldsores on lips are caused by the Herpes Simplex virus. It can be contracted through kissing someone who has one while you have an open cut on your lip, but it can also be passed through families genetically. This is the case with me.. me, my brother, dad and loads of peope in our family have these outbreaks… its just something you have to live with. Go to your local health food store, naturalist pharmacy or normal pharmacy and ask for some lyscene pills. These will beat the virus into submission inside you, and put some zovirax on the sores so you cant pass them on and they’ll close the sores up and clear them away in conjunction with lyscene.
It’s not likely you got it from your husband because you would of noticed open sores on his penis when you went down on him. It’s just a virus strain that’s passed down. Unfortunately you can never completely get rid of this virus, it is rather like mono in the fact that it lies dormant within you and can pop up any time. when you think it’s gone its just been beaten into submission.
Coldsores can be caused by stress and a poor diet. Chill out a bit and get some you time!
