What is the percentage of the chance of oral herpies spread?

I have a girl I’ve been seeing that has lip herpies. I was wanting to know the chances of them spreeding this to others by kiss. The % of the chance would be very helpful. I would like to know about when cold sores or fever blisters are pressent and when they are not pressent. With and without treatment. Thank You

if you have been kissing her while the cold sore was visible u will more than likely contract the type 1 herpe symplex…when a person has a herpe break out they are very very contagious

I don’t know all the percentages, but I would not kiss anyone with a sore present on their lip. If there are not sores present, I wouldn’t worry as much.
If there is no outbreak (sores) present there is a 5% chance of contracting oral herpes.
